A Skinny Gurl’s Apple Pie a la Mode! Recipe


  • 2 to 3 peeled and chopped Organic Apples
  • A sprinkle or pinch of Cinnamon

Choice of one Diary topping (Can also use Almond Milk or Soy products instead, if diary is bad for you):

Here are more suggestions:

  • 1 cup of Low fat Yogurt
  • 1 cup of Vanilla ice cream (low fat or not)
  • 1 cup of Milk (low fat or whole)

Take some organic apples or pesticide free apples and core them with an apple corer or with a small paring knife.  Next, remove the skin.  Chop the apples into small .5 inch cubes or smaller.  Take the chopped apples and microwave (2-4 minutes), steam or bake (15 – 20 minutes) them, until soft.

To Serve:  Place a cup or so of the warm/hot apples into a bowl or cup.  Add a choice of diary topping atop the apples.  Sprinkle on more cinnamon and serve!

You will be floored how it actually tastes like, “Apple Pie a la Mode!”  Of course, without the serious caloric intake from butter and crust!
